Toyo Open Country A/T II. Look aggressive, but have really good road manners and are very quiet on the highway. Treadwear has been amazing as well, I am up over 80K on my current set

They look very utilitarian and subtle. Love it. The Michelin’s are a nice combo.

My buddy has the same tires and they are like slicks after just 30k miles

I love my ST Maxx and I use them on my daily driver but I would not recommend them if you don't actually need their rugged off-road capability and heavy weight.

    None... yet
Well hell... you guys have been great and I love most of the suggestions (not making it easier, I have like 15 tabs open on my browser with pics of different tires!). I may need to rethink my train of thought. For you guys who have the K02's, or Dina Pro's, or Mater Craft MXT's; are that much louder and gas hogs than regular highway tires? It's been several years since I've owned a truck and now that I've got a Taco I want it to look like a truck, but I don't want my wife to hate driving the thing to town because it's loud.

Thanks. I’ve been wanting a set for quite some time. I went the KO2 route on my last purchase but felt the E rated was a little too stiff and loud for my needs.

Went with the Michelin LTX AT/2 this time around. They are brand new so it’ll be a while before I know how they wear. Nice, smooth and quiet right now.

Wildpeaks. Very aggressive looking tire. Super quiet on paved roads.

    Too few to list.
AT tires will cost you mpg's for sure. The heavier it is, the more it will reduce your mileage. Have you considered Wrangler Duratracs?

Yokohama's? I had a set of those on one of my Fords. Really liked them.

Falken Wildpeaks. Aggressive appearance and highway friendly.

Bone stock but with BFG KO2's 265/70R17
I looked at multiple brands, but always went back to KO2s. They are not loud, they sound different. Maybe somewhat louder than the highway tires that came stock on the truck, but in no way annoying. Heavier tire will affect mileage, just a fact.

My suggestion buy what you want, don’t listen to the salesman, you never know what his end game is. Do your research and get what you want. With that said, I got the KO2 and it’s fine for both on and off road

I'm pretty damn happy with my Cooper Discoverer RTX. They have nice aggressive tread lugs and dont beat me to death on the highway even though they are Es.
