I ended up just getting the Ring 2 with the free echo dot. Then I purchased the Echo Show to go along with it since it was $50. I was planning on doing Nest to use with Google Home but this was a pretty decent deal so I figured might as well jump on it. Especially since my current doorbell does not work at the moment ha!

I have one. The battery life is good at first but in a few months it just doesn’t last long. It’s on the back patio plugged in all the time. Sound is good given the size. It’s nice you can pair it with a few phones and cycle through them easily. It’s been rained on too though I don’t believe it should get wet. It’s not a Sonos.

How is the sound quality? Does it sound decent when it's at higher volumes? How's the bass on it, is it actually decent or is it kinda shitty?

    ...too much shit to list.
I have this speaker. I’ve put it through hell and back including dropping it in the mud and hosing it off with a garden hose. It kicks ass IMO.
The JBL has more bass though.

Cool, good to know! I'll give it a test and see how it does. I'm getting it mostly for the beach and goin to the pool, so knowing that it's nice and rugged is a huge positive.

Bass is better if you can load a corner. In open air it’s not as good. This is to be expected. I think it sounds better indoors but you can crank it. It has bass limits as you’d expect. It’s not bad for the price. I was more into whole house sync and this wasn’t going to cut it.
