Yeah, I forgot about Prime Day.
This month has been expensive enough. There's nothing I need bad enough right now.

 

Not much going on, burning the candle at both ends.

 

Honestly might end up doing the same type of thing -I'll be on the lookout for a deal before winter... just need the shell so I can bum it in the mountains snowboarding on my weeks off of work. Proper paint can be a future problem... Fun / functionality > aesthetic for the time being is my thinking

 

Just finished a movie (Bomb City), now I gotta find something else to watch/do.. More beer obviously but I need something to keep me awake, too

 

I would like to have mine matched.....it's just not a big priority right now. I don't mind the color difference

You gonna need more than 16gb SD card.

I just bought dual 64gb cards today on Amazon.

 

Just don't go bigger than 64. Some cameras have a hard time with cards bigger than that.

 

I know on my last camera I was limited to a 64gb card. My new one will go as high as 128gb if you're using compact flash cards in it. Good idea to not exceed 64gb anyway. You're losing a huge amount of photo's when one decides to shit the bed. My 2 get used for a year and then replaced with a new set. Doing it like that, I've only lost one card and it was a cheap one. I only use Sandisk Extreme Pro's now. One card is primary and second card is duplicate or a overflow depending on what I'm shooting.

 

Well shit. I bought a 128g sandisk to go with. I guess I'll buy a 64 now. Can you use the 128?

You lucked up and bought the right one. Sandisk SDXC is approved up to 512gb by Nikon.

 

What was the price on that D3500 kit? I saw a D5600 kit for $6xx today on there.
