Sounds like a good time! I'm looking forward to getting back to that place. Hopefully with a few(hundred..) spare dollars in my pocket.

    No pun intended?

I tried to talk myself out of it, but some people just can't be reasoned with.

    Indeed!

If I wasn’t getting wheels and tires I would have been all over that. Wife is getting mad that I haven’t gotten them yet. What a lighter wheel and tire. Going away from the E load KO2’s.

    What wheels did you order?

Also, my KO2's are C rated, so not much heavier than the granny tires the 4runner came with.

What tires are you looking at?

Wheels I’m going with the FN FX Pro’s

Tires, I’m not sure yet. I might try the Falkin ATW3 they are like 44 lbs. 265/75/16 is hard to find a non E rated AT tire.

Nitto Ridge Grappler has my attention also.

A lot of guys are running those at3w's and seem happy with them.

I don't know much about the Nittos, but i think I looked at them briefly when I was looking for tires and eliminated them due to them being extremely heavy.

Out of curiosity; where is your avatar picture from? Is that the pipeline?

It’s a private bridge the crosses the Prairie River in Lincoln County. My friends wife owns the land and about 20 minutes from my house.
A lot of people won’t drive across it as you only have about 6” on each side to spare. I roll my widows down just in case it goes down.

Cool! I was curious because I know there's some wooden bridges on the pipeline but I haven't seen them yet. There was a water crossing that I wasn't comfortable with before I reached them

I’ve never been to the pipeline. Herd of it though.

I’ve got AT3w and they’ve been awesome and i have 53,000 on them currently. Just put a set on my tundra and @Tigerian is running them on his truck.

    It’s an awesome tire

+1 for the AT3W's, got them in 265/70R16 and haven't noticed more than a 1 mpg hit at the most and the road noise is nothing.

Same size here. Zero impact on fuel economy on my truck. I think they are quieter than the factory wranglers were

Thanks guys. That really helps on making my choice on tires. The bonus is they are the most affordable also.
But you know it’s pretty worthless without photos. LOL
