Not a hater, but not a huge fan either. I can take them in small doses. I stopped brewing them because I kept getting stuck having to finish off the keg once the novelty wore off.

I can definitely understand that position. So far, brewing 1 gallon batches has worked well for me. As I’ve been working on my technique, I haven’t had a huge amount of mediocre beer to drink. I should be able to get between 8 and 10 bottles of pumpkin beer, so that would be about perfect for me.

Yeah, that sounds like a good way to go. I could easily manage a gallon or so.

Speaking of pumpkin beers, Sycamore makes a great one called Gourd Have Mercy.

I don’t know why, but I’ve noticed that Sycamore tends to get some hate. I don’t know why, as everything I’ve had from them has always been good.

Only the second Sycamore I’ve tried but they’ve both been good. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for that pumpkin beer in the fall.

I’m not a big pumpkin beer guy myself but I usually try a few between all the Oktoberfest beers hitting the shelf around the same time.

    Thanks kid!

If you didn’t want me to drink it you should’ve left it in the crisper drawer upstairs.

Last few days. Trillium brew was excellent. Tree House Super Treat was good, but a touch too juicy like 7.

    No, it’s not a Whaleslayer.
This one was made by Joe Procopio aka Forgeworks Bottle Axes.
