Guys are getting away with 295/70R18 and a 0 or -12 offset with some minor trimming to the plastics. Don't go crazy bro dozer offset.

Hey Raleigh/Triangle group. Just joined TW and did an intro post. Been lurking for a while and thought I would finally get active. Just thought I would pop into the local forum.

Just did tires on the Jeep. Ended up with Ridge Grapplers and they did well on my 1000 mile trip.

Pennsylvania and back was interesting. How on earth does anyone get around in that state? The roads are HORRIBLE.. even worse than Louisiana...Crazy thing is that they just discovered natural gas up in the NE area of PA so there’s plenty of money churning around up there.. you’d think they’d start addressing the road conditions

Sounds like you got on the PA turnpike. Where I go is extra rural so the roads are expected to not be great, mostly tar/chip. Besides you're driving a jerp, I barely notice it in the Tacoma.

Yea the Jerp ain’t highway friendly. Actually did take the turnpike in Scranton and it was one of the better roads. 81 north of Scranton has what feels like speed bumps every mile or so haha.

Backroads are all asphalt but a couple spots were big enough to drop a 35” tire a few inches, enough to snatch my steering wheel a little. There’s one spot up near Gibson that has a hole that drops into a culvert drainage that would swallow a dump truck.. crazy thing is it’s been there a couple years and is on the in and out route for the fracking trucks and it’s a mile from the Highway patrol HQ.. can’t believe it hasn’t been fixed yet

Before skip says it, yes the Jeep isn’t nearly as comfortable as the Tacoma on the highway.. inferior this, inferior that.. blah blah
