He can just sand blast it. But he was so devastated after seeing all the rust and the rust stain on his liner that he gave up and just left the grill guard off

Got both tres off. Can't get the new center bushing into the mount, it seems too thick. I called it a night. I'm too frustrated to make any progress and I'm only gonna make it worse if I keep trying to force it

I got the new rack bushings pressed in but I can't get the center bushing into the mount on the frame. I can't use the outer mounts to pull the rack and center bushing in because the center bushing makes the rack too far to bolt it down on the outer mounts

Look at the bright side. Atleast your steering rack bushing doesnt look like this. With a bolt that not even a 15’ breaker bar can get lose

As far as I can tell, I used a C clamp and some washers to press it in and also clamped it with channel locks. Can't exactly see the top side but it feels flush

How far off? Could you put a long screw driver in one side and muscle it into alignment?

    I’m sure you’ve already tried a lot

I took the hardware and placed them in the corner of my bed. I have a drop in Bedliner and I park on a graded driveway. This allows water to pool up in the back of the truck when it’s parked.

The bolts were submerged for maybe two weeks while I installed the supercharger on and off and moved back from San Francisco.

The bolts were so rusty when I found them they could barely turn. Yeah, I can throw them in the sandblaster but honestly I’m too lazy to.
