Don't do it. Trust me. The novelty will wear off REAL quick. You'll get more use out of a knife than the printer.

I think that depends on the person. I used mine a ton until I moved and don't have room to set it up. Once we are back in a new home again it will get setup and used often again.

I'm selling mine to my friend when I go out to visit in Arizona in September. I used it a bunch when I got it then was just over it. I also don't really know how to use CAD programs and don't have the patience to learn either. I'd rather buy knives now lol

Ya knowing how to 3D design helps alot. I've done a tone with mine. My wife broke a plastic battery door on something so I took some measurements drew it up real quick printed it out and boom. Like new. She was amazed when she went to use it and the batteries didn't fall out.

We do a lot of laser etching for things and this goes along with some of that. I'm thinking of getting some of the wood grained filament to try out and see how it looks. Could do some stands and things for some of the laser etched stuff.

Well then you might get use out of it. The Ender 3 (which is the one you saw, I saw it yesterday too) is a solid entry machine. It's what I've got as well. You can mod the fuck outta it. Let me know if you get it, I'll let you know some mods you 100% want to do off the bat.

@Kanyon71 is doing some awesome one-off Unicorn shakers* to coincided with the new rub releasing fairly soon. $23 includes the shipping and they will go to me to be shipped out with your launch party rub order. This is saving those folks at least a few bucks on shipping charges for the shakers themselves. Some of the details are in these two posts:

Just posting up in case anyone here missed it and is interested! Last day to sign up is this Saturday.

*To note, the rub will not be released with the name "unicorn" - this is a TW inside joke that grew some serious legs!

You could have printed some duct tape to hold the batteries. ;)

@Kanyon71 , do you have the design you can share or are you ready to release a pic of the shaker?

The group price on them is $23. That includes the shipping for the shaker. The rub will have a small shipping charge, but it will be calculated on the rub only. I will include the shakers in the fulfillment of the rub orders at no further shipping cost.

It wouldn't hold in this case because of the shape of where the cover was. Plus designing and printing my own replacement is way cooler. LMAO.

The name "unicorn" got so popular on TW, that there is a 0.0% chance that anyone here will like the actual name, but we're rolling with it.

It's been in the works for us for a while.
