    Rev matching and heel-toe is perfectly on topic. However when people come in and talk about how they don't get it and don't think it's necessary for daily driving, that's where is gets off topic. Why buy a manual then? Just get an auto....

    Heel-toe is not necessary for daily driving .

    My mom drove a MT VW bug and a MT Honda Civic for most of her life. She doesn’t even know what heel-toe is.

    When she taught me to drive,she told me break, hit the clutch and then down shift before the turn.

    Heel-toe necessary in race situation only. Over steering because of a downshift is one of most scariest things I remember when I used to auto-cross and do weekend races
