    An update, @SRH and everyone else*:

    The polyp sample test came back as positive for cancer. It doesn't mean that I HAVE cancer, but it does mean that if I leave it be I most certainly will. I'll probably still use the line at bars with confidence, though.

    Anyway, next step is to remove it and go into prevention mode.

    One of my managers is a food hound. Honestly, he should be a restaurant critic. Great person, all around.

    His argument is that he'd rather enjoy food, and by extension, life, now. Eat right, exercise, but at what cost? "I don't need to live longer."

    It's not about that...it's about quality of life. We can't buy that back. I've watched in horror as too many members of my family have died slowly and terribly.

    Do me a favor...rethink your day to day habits.
