After about 300 miles on 1.05 87p GL, I had an idle surge only on the first cold start of the day between 1000 and 1200 when I put it in D or R. Only lasted until I was able to apply throttle and get moving. Getting out of my parking garage was a little awkward though. I sent in a ticket and heard from Mat that this behaviour was an issue with "cold start idle targets" even on the stock tune and that the 1.05 idle tune adjustments helps with this.

I was living with it until flashing 1.05.1 87p GL and the issue is no longer present. I don't know if it was fixed as a result of the tune update itself or simply resetting LV/AT or just went away. 2018 OR/AT.

Hi Matt, I wanted to see if you had an update on estimated time frame on turn around registration keys? Also, I just realized that when I sent my initial registration e-mail, I left out additional details on the truck model, so I sent a 2nd e-mail with more details, not sure if that matters or not. First time around, only mentioned that it was a 2019 Tacoma AT, so I sent a 2nd one with more details indicating it was a 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro Auto 4x4.

i was running 1.05 BFO 93oct on a MT truck (BFO is the MT performance tune test file that preceded the current 1.05 for MT).

i installed the tubes and drove home (about 5mi) on that tune. Mat has said the tubes require their own tune to perform correctly. but i can say that my pre-tube truck would lose a race to the tube truck even with the old tune. i'm only a few miles in and won't have more drive time until tomorrow.

Thanks for the feedback, sounds promising. Do you have any way of monitoring the air/fuel ratio at various loads/rpm?

Gotcha. I asked @OVTune if A/F would be safe without the dump tube tune but he hasn't responded yet. Or maybe I just missed it.

Usually if there is a sensor error, the system should default to rich / cold start fueling.

I’m with ya there with the exception of hearing it on the trd exhaust. I won’t consider buying until I have an idea of what it’ll sound like.

I'm interested to see what Mat comes up with for a full exhaust system. I would bet that whatever he comes up with will end up sounding pretty badass combined with the dump tubes.

Reminder folks.... if things are going according to "plan" OVTune 3.0 is dropping today, which means your reg keys and 2.0 updates will take a backseat for a few days/weeks while he's being dad to a newborn!!

    Good luck @OVTune !

Any info on how much the turbo kit will cost? Do you need the dump tubes to do the turbos?
