I am not built for winter nor do I enjoy it. As soon as the weather turns warmer I am game. Even in the dog days of summer I am good.

 

I hate being hot, I also hate the cold. My ideal temperature is 54 degrees. If it could stay that way all the time, I would be a happy camper.

 

I've done the polar bear plunge 3 times. Not saying my old ass could handle it now but that was when I was your age

My neighbor back in Manassas was a NSF researcher that did some time down in the Antarctic. They had the "300 club"

 

See, that's a great temp! Yes, I will still sweat but i can cool off faster. Once it gets over 80 and I start that's it. I sweated watching Randall and Tyler install my lift. And not because I had anything to fear either. (just wanted to add that)

 

Oh yeah, my office is like 76* during the summer. I started pit staining after moving a chair from one side of my office to the other. Any hotter than about 60 and I get leaky at the drop of a hat.

 

Must be all that bitchin' and moanin' he does made me think he was much younger.

Honestly though, why did I think he was your age? He's not 57!

I’ve gotten to where I wear two shirts at work. Keep a sweatshirt in the truck.

 

That's what I need to start doing, is just leaving it at work. The struggle is finding something comfortable that doesn't look ridiculous with dress pants and a button up shirt. The sweater I've been wearing has only been when I wear polos to work.

 

You work in a hospital! I've always wondered why they keep them so damn cold. You can come work in my office this week. 40ft up on a building laying trusses and strapping for tin next week.

However, some coworkers get crazy with the temperature. Turn all the thermostats down and run fans. I’ll pass on your job for the week. I might burst out in flames.

 

Infection control? Do you work in infectious disease? After being around my wife who's in the medical field, it gave me a whole new respect for anyone in any part of it. I couldn't do it.
