Once you swap the seats it's a whole new truck. Recommend no Camry seats unless you get them for free and you hate yourself, such a pain in the ass to install.

 

I’m pretty excited that there aren’t any major mods in line for a loooooong time. I’ll have to drop some dough on tires and wheels soon, but other that that, I’ll just be making this thing more comfortable and user friendly over the next few years. Seats are definitely on the list.

Oh... and wheeling it. A LOT!

 

Always a good feeling! You have about 6yrs of fun wheeling before you get the urge to change it again. SAS is overrated, trust me!

 

FRS seats are the most comfortable factory seats I've ever spent time in. They are "race" style seats so you might think they wouldn't work for comfort but I've taken numerous 10+ hr trips in them and was more comfortable than in my truck or 4runner.

 

Sweet! We'll pull your out and put them in mine. I'll even let you have my seats to replace them.

I swapped in Subaru wrx buckets into my first gen, just cut the seat frames and welded them on the wrx seats.

Most comfortable seat I’ve had. In my opinion, and they have some really high bolsters to keep you planted

 

Not gonna lie the seats in my Supra are damn comfortable but those may be harder to find

 

My seats suck too. More or less base model seats, little side bolstering. Noticed that my left knee will hurt a bit after a long day of wheeling time, and there's a rubbed spot on the door panel.
Sport seats can fix that I think

 

They are also heavy as fuck. Broke my back trying to get those fucking things out of the drift car. Haha

 

Ha I haven't gotten to take them out yet, but I need to mess with my driver side since the motor died

 

I've heard several people say that they are comfy. Think that is what @Robertocritser has too. They were awesome.

 

1st gen 4runner SR5 seats are badass lol. Adjustable bolstering, height, lumbar, head rest angle...

 

But the chance of finding them for sale in good condition is one in a million.

 

is there not some upholstery place around here who could reupholster the seat bolstering of the 1st gen Taco seats for cheap?

 

Yes I really like them. I'd take them or frs seats any day of the week haha
