I was gonna buy one of these till I saw how easy a thief can open one. The good thing is as long as a thief doesn’t know its there, they usually don’t carry the tools to open it. I would not tell anyone you have this. IMHO. Never leave anything of value overnight inside.

Ive been running those in my fog lights for a little over a year now. They are fantastic in the snow, and better than regular white lights in the rain. Other cases I’d rather have a white bulb. Also wish it matched the dtrl ambers better.

This stuff is crazy. I had my car broken into when I lived in Miami. I think it's nutz that people steal tailgates.

I'm so glad to live where I do. Hell, I don't lock my truck at night and I rarely take the keys out. I don't even have a garage.

Installed the MESO gasshole today. Oh what fun it was. That screw must have been torqued to 300ft-lbs. I found the right Phillips screwdriver to use was a #3. I attached a pair of vice grips to the screwdriver. I firmly held the door in place while just pushing on the screwdriver, then had DW turn the vice grips down a tiny bit to break the seal. It worked!!!

K&N’s are worse, they’re completely open. At least my last one was.

I picked it off Amazon for $291.69. You can probably get the Console Vault cheaper, which is what I was originally looking to get, but $90 shipping to Hawaii discouraged me. Lock'er Down was free shipping.

I usually limit what I carry on my outings regardless, so no huge loss would occur thankfully. It just beats me trying to hide my stuff elsewhere in my truck that people can find. I'm sure I could get past this safe too if I knew ahead of time what I was up against. For the times times people have broken into my vehicles, none seemed equipped to deal with this safe (so far). More of a strong deterrent for a smash and grab.

The same shit everyone else has.
    Power steering flush.

Pain in the dick hole to do with the compressor mounted where it is. The reservoir is moved like an inch towards the center of the truck. Only took like 30 minutes to do though.

Hardest part was finding some scrap hose to extend the return line to make it easy to drain. 3/8” ID vinyl hose & barb did the trick.

I’m assuming the hot and cold levels are the fluid temp, not the engine temp.

    133k on the old fluid.

Couple weeks ago I had a new Pioneer AVH-2550NEX Headunit installed with apple carplay. They ran the lightning cable through my glove box for the carplay which looked stupid. So I went and bought a magnetic phone mount and went home and popped out the blank switch cover and drilled a hole in it to reroute the cable which created a nice clean look. 911BAE37-6D54-4441-8996-A240B4FA47B3.jpg65A5B944-537A-400A-8195-03E943365365.jpg 7DD20623-59F9-41CF-B13B-10BF3D592ACB.jpg

So do you have to turn the side markers on in order to turn the DRL tube on ?
