Custom LED Map and Dome lights

Haha I like the black housing just not a huge fan of seeing the led board.

Is there any pictures of both the maps and dome with pure red at night? I wanna see if i should get white maps and red dome instead of all red.

 

You could try getting a privacy film frost vinyl, wrap it and cut it at the edges. Shouldn't look too bad. Lol. Maybe retrofit the factory cover? Slap on some velcro in the middle?

There are several in this thread. I know there is a lot of pages to look through but they are here. I’m running white dome and red maps. I have a set of white maps I swap depending on what I’m doing. My lady said the white maps where blinding when she would wake up from a nap so swapped to reds to help. She’s much more happy with that set up.

 

If the white maps are too blinding and you would happen to decide to sell them I would buy them off of you.

 

I still swap them out from time to time depending on what I'm doing, camping and such. If I didn't use them anymore I would sell them but I do.

I have a dome light issue that has nothing to do (possibly) with this thread. I just got back home from a 2 month trip and found my battery dead. After charging, I come to find that the dome light is constantly on. I cannot switch it off at the switch on the ceiling console. Any thoughts? I searched for this, in the forum, but came up empty.

What happens if I lost the sliding switch for the dome light? I know I know... How can I "lose" it? I think while doing the install it ended up falling into a trash bag on the floor and because I kept getting interrupted, it was a few days before I reassembled everything. By then the bag was thrown out. How can I get a new switch without needing to buy a whole OEM assembly (I think Part #8124060060B0) ?

 

Do driver map white and passenger map red. Then you have bright white when you need it. And when you need red light, the passenger red fills the cab nicely.

 

Final production injection molded bezels(minus texture). Fitment is OEM and they click in like factory.
