Does yours not have the actual coffee stand?

And f the carwashes. Like some kid making minimum wage gives a rats ass on doing a good job. When my dad took their brand new VW to the dealership the dumbass kid had a rock or something in the rag and scratched the f outta it. Then the dealership tried to say it was pre-exsisting scratches and crap....right up till two other people came in and bitched about the same thing lol.

@Nimitz does your GX have air suspension? Or did you delete that for coilovers?

It has a kiosk next to the waiting area that is staffed with someone that who pours your coffee and is supposed to keep the cookies stocked. Afaict it's just generic coffee made in a restaurant style machine that fills a pump pot.

Ahh. The one over here has an actual little coffee stand so they can make whatever you want. Mocha, lattes, ect. They also do sandwiches too. But you only get a "free" 12oz coffee of your choice

I got lucky when I bought mine. Already had coils. But it was all sorts janky. Think the lower puck thing installed was a piece of wood? Either way I replaced all that shit

I grabbed one too just because it's got a little more power than the rest of mine. Need to get a HAM license now. I've been procrastinating. I have a book and there are tons of practice tests online.

Same here. I'm hoping this one has a little more robust case too, My UV-5R isn't terrible but I don't know that I trust it to not shatter if I dropped it on a rock getting out of the truck or something like that.

I can't recommend enough buying an upgraded antenna too. When I was down in Tillamook last year those of us with upgraded antennas were getting clear comms 2-3 miles through the woods and over hills while the ones with the stubby that comes with them were getting static at under a mile.

I have the NA-701C because it said it said the optimal frequency range had the ones I planned to use at the time. At the end of the day I think pretty much anything would be an upgrade from what comes on them.

There is a chart with the different antenna options and all kinds of info down the page

Ahhh. I was able to adjust mine on the LS to get lower, but now it's probably a matter of time before they all start to blow. Ones got a slow leak already, which I've heard can be prolonged with fix-a-flat. Coilovers for cars are almost as expensive as trucks. :annoyed:

    Never modded a car before.

Oh yeah, anyone got a recommendation on window tint? Location? Mobile? Pricing? Bad experiences?

I've had great results with Accutint in Bellevue. They'll give you a quote over the phone for your make/model/tint type.

Nooo...there are so many options for trucks and custom mounting solutions you can easily spend 10g on suspension alone for a truck. The only thing I can think of that costly for a car suspension wise would be the computer controlled air suspension that changes pressure on the fly while you're driving to minimize body roll.

In the benz scene adjustable KW coilovers were great and only cost ~2k.

Now when it comes to custom 3 piece forged wheels...that's a whole 'nother story.

Well I'm at the point now where I know it will never be raced on a track or do auto x, or anything high performance really. It's a luxury land yacht so I don't need to spend the $$$ on high end coilovers, and I'm not much of a brand whore so I'm trying to find a reason NOT to buy the cheapest ones I can find that aren't a Chinese knock off.
