I'm looking for a good buffer (random orbital; 5" or 6") at a good price. What's out there? My '06 Tacoma is looking a little tired and I want to show it some love.

Porter Cable 7424, End of discussion.

I use one with a 3m flexible velcro backing plate and an assortment of Lake country pads depending on the level of cutting I need.

    lol :D

I bought mine 5 years ago from Lowes for $110 and I love it. I also use it as a random orbit sander.

Yeah...yeah...that's what I have. Not sure of the model # though.

I buy the pads and bonnets from Griot's Garage (www.griotsgarage.com)
