How's your carrier bearing? Driveline vibes could be coming from it

It’s in good shape but the noise and thump is definitely coming from the front end.

I would get the front end up and check the wheel bearing and lower ball joints

Eh to each their own I guess. Are they great? No. But do they work good for my purposes and meet my expectations? Sure.

At least they arent rough country.

Pretty sure its 3 resistors inside the lexus CC unit that need to be swapped with the earlier taco resistors. I think @BartMaster1234 has pics of what needs to happen.

The ride quality is imensly better than rough country lol. Pretty sure Ive been over how bad the ride quality on the 92 is with its rough country/pro comp shocks. 5100's ride nice and plush compared to those things.

I installed a Sound Ordnance powered subwòofer under my driver's seat. I am mildly impressed with it so far.

I know you said it seemed like it was from the front. Be check the rear. I chased a front end sound for 6-7 months. Turned out to be a rear wheel bearing..

    Day 2...

As we pulled up to our spot - campsite #4 - at Twin Sisters, a surprise! Tents were already setup in "our spot." And what's this? - someone else's name on the reserved sign. Uh oh. I checked the reservation. Yep - I had a confirmation email, my credit card had been charged. And then, I noticed - we'd reserved spot #64 - as far away from Twin Sisters as you could physically get, a site that I'd looked at but - I thought - only in passing. There'd clearly been a snafu somewhere along the way - either in the web site, or between the keyboard and monitor.

How'd we get here and what did we see? Check it all out in Day 2: We Take Up Residence in Idaho's City of Rocks

Did your rebuild include new nitrogen? That something you do yourself? If so, details...

One of the first times that I've ever agreed with you.

^^I feel dirty for saying that, but it's true, so what can I say. Bilsteins are WAYY overrated...

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Finished up a little project. With help of my buddy @Pella on the welder.

Custom brackets for the new awning.

Oh... and been running 5100s for 2 years. The front sucked with preloaded stock springs. The rear sucked with only 1.5 inch add a leaf.

They handle well, and ride great, with ToyTec 620# springs (at bottom setting) and additional lift from a middle leaf out of a 5 lug Tacoma. The ONLY complaint, I have now, is they fade when driving over long wash board graded sections of fire roads.

Are they Kings? No... and they also don't cost the blood of my first born son.

Go pay your "not first born" a visit and steal the Icons. :D I had em tuned really nicely for a first gen, and it takes a good while of really tough shit to get em to fade.
