Have we hit a hundred degree temperatures yet this summer

Austin proper has yesterday. I had 101 and 100 as highs the last two days.

 

Yeah but that cop was being a dick I was pushing it he pulled me over because I stop for 3 seconds at a stop sign with nobody else out on the road at 3 in the morning

yeah, I see it's only 91* in F'Burg right now. Still 96* here!

 

I don't think it's hit a hundred yet this year in Fredericksburg I think the high it's ever gotten so far is 94

I take the old ass 50 year old Mexican guy with 30 years experience over the 23 year old punk kid with a piece of paper that says he's knows what he's doing

 

Just threw some tenderloin in the over in a cast iron with some carrots and Brussels sprouts. Haven't had any pork tenderloin in a while.

 

Nice, I'm working on a completely custom masala/curry-like mash-up in my cast iron.

 

I wish I had a gas burner. I have electric coils. Also, I love curry!

 

I love curry, too. I've been making it on a regular basis for years, but I'm constantly running out of ingredients. Luckily, there's an Indian market nearby. I still am out of whole garlic/garlic paste, whole ginger/ginger paste and white onions. Hopefully, it doesn't suck, but I've filed my family with deep fried vegetable and chicken Samosa, just in case.

Edit: I also will only live in places with a gas burner

 

When I lived in San Diego, there was a little Indian super market on my way home. I loved stopping in there.

 

Indian food is so good. Tied with smoked barbecue, for me, on favorite food to eat. Boiled pregnant female lobster with garlic butter is still number 1, though.
