    Russian river just (we’ll within the last couple years) supersized their production warehouse and Pliny is being sold at stores like Whole Foods now (at least around the Bay Area)

    If you have trouble finding it you could probably just scoot over to so cal with a cooler and stock up

    Yeah. The rest of my family still lives in San Diego. I'll have to see what I can find next time I visit. Too hot for that drive now. My last batch came from a neighbor that visited his family in Sausalito. Seems plentiful up that way.

    Don’t get me wrong, I like Pliny but it’s not my favorite Russian River beer.

    If you haven’t had the STS or Supplication it’s definitely worth a try. Supplication is a sour just FYI so if that’s not your thing then forget it.

    Next time your neighbor is here have him stop at cellarmaker and pick up a crowler. You’re supposed to drink them within 3 days so it would have to be on the way back but they are producing the best beer in the Bay Area right now in my opinion.

    I agree with first one.

    I like h(l)azy IPA beers if they’re not bitter hop acid bombs. Which they somehow turned into. I always get a sample before ordering one.

    I call them (l)azy beers. Because it’s just turned into brewers not clarifying their beer.
