in fact, i just called adjusters with allstate and liberty and they verified headlights are not covered under comp.

To be perfectly fair I hated beer until I was like, 23 and then suddenly I did, but I still have not found any redeeming quality to coffee... tastes bitter, and oh god it makes your breath nauseating. Legitimately one of the worst things I have to deal with at work is a hovering coffee drinker.

I love the smell of it brewing because it brings back memories of summer vacations with family, but otherwise hard pass.

 

sorry, i must have misunderstood you. thought you meant you could get free fogs through your insurance glass coverage.

 

Dude that is literally a screen shot from an Allstate policy contract and clearly says otherwise. I have had my dad's taillight replaced for 0 deductible under his glass coverage on his Allstate policy along with numerous clients headlights and foglights as long as they have the full glass coverage they're covered as described in the post above

Anyways I just wanted a fucking paint referral not someone trying to play Johnny know it all.

 

dude you need to understand what the definition of “glass” is. if your agent submitted a glass claim for a taillight, please let me know who that agent is.

@OnePuttBlunder deals with insurance on a daily basis, if anyone would know it would be him. Now other companies may not define glass the same way but considering he’s had successful claims based on that definition, if you’re unsuccessful you may have to escalate to an adjuster that is more informed of the specifics themselves.

i don’t just deal with insurance companies, i work directly for one of the biggest insurance companies and i have experience in many different departments, including claims and underwriting.

yes, companies have different policies but i find it strange that i contacted both allstate and liberty directly and spoke to my contacts in claims. both supervisors, both said no to headlights. the caveat would be the “custom equipment” coverage, but that’s not for headlights.

i’m pressing this to not only avoid other’s thinking their “full glass” covers headlights, but to also sniff out any insurance agent fraud that needs to be reported to the az dept of insurance. fraud causes all of our prices to go up.

 

I don’t know man, escalate it further than your contacts. It’s worth additional investigation especially since what @OnePuttBlunder posted clearly defines glass as being glass or other substituted materials in place of glass.

I work for the state and between the administrative code and statutes there are many areas where people are under one impression and once you start digging and looking at the actual law, you find out that they have been interpreting it incorrectly or just misunderstood it entirely.

 

As stated previously it is a screen shot of a current contract. More specifically one that I just wrote. I've been licensed for 12+ years and on the front lines of insurance the entire time, I deal with everything on a daily basis, writing and servicing policies, claims, escalations, problem solving, technical underwriting and contract questions. I'm the guy the agency principal goes to when they have a question. Look man as stated previously i'm on razors edge at the moment living with no ac since early Sat. I have proved to you beyond question the exact wording of what our policy covers. I dont really give a shit what your contacts say cause they're wrong..........
