Here is the video and pictures of the damage. It only broke the plastic clips.

Tell me again how your Taco feels.

You are one lucky guy. It easily could have been catastrophic. My buddy was driving his wife's Rav4 and got side-swiped by a big doe. $3300 damage, then the insurance company gave him a hard time b/c he didn't have a police report. The body shop manager told the insurance company he had deer hair and teeth stuck in the fender if they wanted it. They paid.

As an advocate for deer hunting, I cringed when you said “got ‘em”.

Zero other damages. Hood, grill, bumper and doors line up. Lighter was untouched.

I lucked out and now hate every deer I see. I don't hunt, but now thank those who do.

Did you stop to make sure the deer was dead and not laying there suffering? Youre supposed to put them out of their misery or call the game warden if its not dead.

Driving home from Alaska a moose came out of nowhere and into the shoulder when I was doing about 65, but decided to turn back around. Scared the absolute shit out of me

Yes. I turned around and checked. Dead, not moving with detached limbs.

I hit a pregnant doe doing 70 one night. I hit her so hard she exploded and two babies went flying out. She was dead but the babies were alive so i called the game warden. Never heard if they lived but i doubt it.

yeah, I did the same thing in my new 2019 I bought it in march and Easter weekend with 800 miles on the odometer I hit a deer, most of the stuff I was able to pop back in place and I have a new fender flair for it just haven't put it on. cracked the bumper a little but its behind the fender flair. So I feel for ya.
