3 hours from start to finish. But I really took my time making sure connections were good and also fished additional wires through the wire boot which made it a bit more time consuming.

 

Taking pictures and chasing down an install mistake and then doing the switch install twice, slowed me down a bit
Running the wires behind the dash board also seemed to take a little longer than I thought it should have.
Take a half hour and make sure you have a place to put the door panels and such after they are removed. then get all your supplies ready ahead of time.
All in all, I would say, from "soup to nuts" , 4 hours would be a good estimation

 

I also wanted to mention that I got my headlights resealed while I was on vacation back east by a local guy and he also retrofitted them the way I originally wanted them in the beginning since the guy that did my headlights to begin with screwed them up really bad and it was just a hot mess. I’ve been putting it off for awhile because it was such a headache but I finally got it done and just finished reinstalling them back in the truck. They are absolutely amazing and just as I designed them to be.







If you are in my area or need someone, let me know. He does all sorts of things. He’s doing my taillights next. He’s currently working on a BMW right now. While I was doing that, I also got a Plug-N-Play Harness for my Fog Lights to come on with my Highbeams.

Another install tip. When you are reinstalling the door panels. Be sure to get the door handle and lock cables set properly into the clips.
If not, you wont be able to open the door from inside the truck, and or lock the door(s).
If this does happen. don't panic. Put the widow down and open with the outside door handle. Then pop off the door panel and reset the cable(s). No need to remove the arm rest bezel. just the sail panel and 2 Phillips screws.

 

Now, that is something I am interested in.

Here’s info on the cut for the MESO Bezel:

This is my stencil I made. I will scan this picture into the instruction guide so that you guys will have it as well



I cut it out and traced around it with a pencil so I knew where the outside of the New Bezel was going to be on the Switch Panel. On my personal Switch Panel, I made sure to align the circle up and then I traced the Fold/Unfold Button only. The key to cutting the Fold/Unfold Button only is you have to be really amazing at making a cut (1) and (2) if that’s not the case, then just get some interior trim accent pieces like my interior and dress up the inside of your truck a little Otherwise, your third option is to go the route of the New MESO Bezel. You can always paint it or do whatever you’d like to it as well. That’s up to you. Anyways, here are some pics...



Remove the stencil and this is what you have remaining as a pretty good guide.



Take it slow and doing it in stages so you don’t take too much off. With my cut I made here, I made just enough so it’s snug and didn’t need anything to secure it. I wanted to make sure the owner if he wanted could remove it at anytime if he wanted to for some reason.









Now it’s time to insert the New Bezel into its New Home...

So there you go. That’s what the New MESO Adjust & Fold Control Switch Bezel looks like in the OEM Switch Panel.

Yes. The DIY will work for anything. The MESO Puddle Lights just do not like the aftermarket mirrors.
