All good, it’s about 120F in my garage so may just wait a few weeks when it’s cooler to install

Hate to be that guy but just asking to get clarification; this probably doesn't include the left of steering wheel illumination harnesses does it?

It does not. I have pricing on those and will be posting an interest list/order thread. Final price on those will be dependent on how many people are interested in which kind. Minimum to actually have a buy is 10 per type (left or center).

I need a bit more understanding about these.

Are they like a daisy chain where you just gang one to another between the switch harnesses to get illumination without any cutting? And, we'd need one for each switch that needs illumination?

The alternative is soldering a single wire to an existing switch illumination wire?

Sorry, I am back in kindergarten with this! And, am still slacking on the switches that I can wire up.:rofl:

At this point, the harnesses I had quoted are just a piggy-back (male/female) connector set to plug into locations where the illumination circuit is. Not that you couldn't just plug 5 illumination harnesses in a row, though it wouldn't be ideal. I have not made provisions for daisy-chaining, however spade terminals can be added and the quote updated if that is what most people end up wanting. Again, I'm trying to go with the least common denominator so we can get a significant number of the same harness made to keep costs down.

    I'll go with that. o_O

The last thing that I want to do is drive cost for anyone else. I was just trying to nail down the functionality in my mind.

Again, it's dependent on how many people are interested. If that number is low, I can always modify the "standard" harness to have spade terminals myself as an add-on.

Google pay refunds are complete. I was verifying the coupon code and it doesn't appear to be working correctly so I am holding off on sending it out.

It's all good. I am comfortable with soldering and all that. I just haven't mapped out my needs yet and am more of a hands on person in the absence of visual details or a wall of text. :D

So as I now understand the setup to keep it as simple as possible:

-- The basic 2LM harness will have constant illumination to the switch with an additional light coming on in the 2LM switch when engaged.

-- This additional harness will be PnP also and allow the 2LM switch to be fully controlled like the other switches? This additional harness has no other functionality?

For my personal perspective, I think that I will be okay with the basic setup / full time illumination on the 2LM switch. If the additional harness could support illumination control of other nearby switches, I could be tempted.

I just wanted to clarify, the small switches fit in the center under the climate control and the large are for the left of the steering wheel correct?
