Good Luck, My G26 would be the last gun I would want to let go.

Used is good . 4th gen preferred , 3rd good , not sure how I feel about the ambi release on the 5 , but would prob be a non issue . I can get pretty good deals on new so just seeing what’s out there .
Would like to get some real range time in with one to see if it’s really for me .

Eh I had a 26 and carried it every day. Maybe I have big hand but I really didn't like it. I sold it and bought an FN 509 Tactical. I carry that every day but it has the same problem of carrying a Glock 17. That's why I'm now building a p80 p940cl. Best of both worlds, Glock 34 slide with a 19 grip. No more looking like a tumor sticking out of my shirt.

Already did the p940cl . Not in love with it .

I daily carry a 41. The large frame glocks fit my hand well . Single stacks much too small , and I’m looking to change up my pocket pistol so I wanted to give the 26 a go .

For my hands it fits me pretty great. I'm not a giant but I'm not 5'6" either so it works good for me.

I have the gen 5 for my duty weapon. I’m a lefty. I had a little trouble with my holster, but other than that, I didn’t notice a difference between it and the 4. If you are a right handed shooter, I don’t see the point of the 5 really

For sure, i think once you get past the 17 in length things start getting a little impractical. I just think, aesthetically, the 17L is the best looking glock, hands down. its just a shame that it is so hard to find.

The marksman barrel, no finger grooves, upgraded firing pin safety, beefed up slide where the recoil spring sits, improved trigger mechanism that reduces the need for aftermarket springs and connectors, the coil spring slide lock

Current carry items. Looking for recommendations for pistol lights. Anyone have issues with a slightly longer light while appendix carrying?

Hands down I'd go with olight. Either the PL minis or the PL pro. All are great options and I'll have all three shortly. I used the original mini and love it. Moved it to my SBR when I bought the PL mini 2 for my 509T. Now I'll use the PL pro for the p80 build and possibly throw on my ARs from time to time. The best part is that they use rechargable batteries so no more spending money on batteries.

X2 for olight. I have two pl minis and the SR baton. Great lights for my needs. I’ve mentioned before that they don’t have the same throw as streamlight but they have a wider beam. Imo, on a defensive handgun, you was a wide patter to identify threats in a small space (think indoors) and will most likely not be taking shots at 100 yards in the dark.
