    AC is going again, drain pan has been halfway full of water since we moved in and draining regularly to outside. The leak came from the unit above the drain pan before it even gets to the pan. Water seeping out of the mylar/duct tape. Looks like it's been doing it a while too because the boards beneath it were rotting out. Sad part is it looks like whomever installed this unit 18 months ago fudged up something and they only cover 1 year labor/workmanship. Oh well AC guys will be here tomorrow morning and drywall repair guy on Friday. Running the AC with no fucks to give but a big ass tub of water to empty later.

    Yeah, that was my point. When you have water in that pan, you have issues to fix; the pan is dry in a system that is working correctly.
