So I was hoping someone could tell me if this is normal. I know it’s hard to see but I greased my driveline zerks a few months ago and I got back Under the truck and saw grease/goo sprayed above each joint.

    Thoughts?? 8B2C8206-3BF4-43FD-9393-62F9B3EFF29A.jpg ADA914CA-8EAC-4F56-A3AE-4280875C77A0.jpg 1687E005-DC49-4486-A287-B4CB43CE9D40.jpg

You mean you "saw" it not "seen" it right?

That is what the undercarriage above a healthy driveline is supposed to look like, its normal.

I’m not sure if it’s normal for the Tacos or not but I can say I wouldn’t blink an eye at heavy equipment (mini excavators and such) at work that spun some grease out after I had topped off zerks on them. Especially if you filled until you started seeing fresh grease come out.

Come to think of it the driveline is spinning much faster than the equipment I’m thinking of so I wouldn’t be to worried.

Normal. When you applied grease, did you wipe off all of the excess goo that came out? Either way, it doesn't hurt anything.

It's normal, mine does the very same thing. So have other vehicles I've owned/serviced that have grease fittings on the u-joints.

It is completely normal for any vehicle with a grease fitting on the driveshaft.

I figured it was, just by assumption. But I’m not a mechanic so I didn’t want to speak out of turn.
