Nice grippy yet smooth-ish top surface, they look excellent, and the bottom isn’t nubs it’s a different material that grips to the carpet better. Of course still uses the floor retention as well. And a beefed up heel pad to prevent wear.

How goes it Mike?

Alright so since I assume you work around them a little more than I do, what do you recommend for a snokel? Or what should I be spending on one?
$300.....$550?

I can get you a quote on the F1, but we don't carry Gator. PM for the F1 on the way.

You should be spending as little as required to keep a sealed and well made intake.

I know that's not such a simple answer, but it's what you should be looking for. I'm not sure which snorkel you're looking at for $300, but I'm sure the $550 is the ARB.

The ARB snorkel is proven and fits very well, but pricy.

If you can get a quality fit and reliability for $300, I'd go that route all day.

The big thing to consider is if all the connection points will be solid. Especially where the snorkel meets the air box!
Next up is for the install, ARB provides a template so you know you're cutting a big hole in the correct location. For the cheaper one, check to make sure they provide everything to ensure you have a quality installation.
