You can use the cord that came with your phone. There’s a usb in the truck. There’s also a wireless charger you can lay your phone on.

I also have an iPhone X, and it charges through the USB or Qi wireless.

It charges mine just fine. Wireless charging does heat my phone up though, or the charger does, can’t tell which one.

My truck charges my phone just fine using any source and I have the newest and largest iPhone XS Max. However when my wife and I are in the truck together, we can’t use two USB ports to charge our phones simultaneously for some reason. One of us must use the wireless charger and one of ya use a cord. Unsure why and will be asking dealer next time I go there.

I can charge 2 iPhone XS Max with the dual USB chargers under the armrest with no issues.

We tried same thing. Nothing will work other than one on the wireless pad and one on any other usb charging spot. It’s not critical so no special trip to dealer for it that’s for sure.

from what I'm getting from the inter web you may need a certain type of cig lighter adapter to usb charge the iPhone X, the QI will work but super slow

Doesn’t sound right to me. It should charge 2.1A x 2. If it doesn’t bother you that’s ok.

That doesn’t sound right, I’ve got the X and have never had an issue with the USB charging from the USB port in the center console or the one on the dashboard. I’m using the same lightning cable and standard cig light adapter I’ve been using for many years now.

That is a setting on the phone. Google it. My work iphone stopped charging from my laptop after an update. Would only charge with a block .

the usb in the truck with the attached aux plug is a data port, not for charging. You have to use Qi or plug in either cigarette port.

The in dash USB port isn't a charging port and isn't rated / doesn't supply enough power to charge your phone. You'll need a 12v charger in the dash or (if your truck has it) inside the armrest.
