Just make sure they are real Brembo.

LOTS of counterfeit brembo parts out there.

    That is not the issue,

Just do some real careful checking, call Brembo, ask them if they do a set for your rig and what the part number is, ask the rep if there is any identification on the parts to ensure authenticity, then ask questions of the supplier, ask them to show you the authenticity mark and ask what your remedy is if they are in fact fake ones that you receive.

Little bit of work, but better than counterfeit sub par parts.

Ebay is the LAST place I would look for auto parts. I didnt have any issues ordering my brembos from Amazon, but I was pretty anxious to see if I got the real deal when they showed up.

If a price is to good the quality most times is not!!

Front Brakes are a combination of Rotors Pads and Calipers they all work together

I tend to agree with you. Gotta check to see that any part you order from ebay comes in the Genuine Toyota Parts box (red and white) with the correct parts number. I went for the timing belt/water pump package that everybody writes about here and was completely satisfied.

As with everything these days (and days of yore), "Caveat emptor".

I need new rotors and pads, what should I buy or not buy? I have stock calipers, rotors, and pads on my 2002 TRD V6.

    Thanks for any advice.

OEM through an online parts dealer, is a solid performing less risk in counterfeit parts more expensive option. Seems most folks buy the Brembo or Centric blank rotors and Akebono pads or any other ceramic pad from a big name brand manufacturer

It's better if you buy your auto parts from an actual auto parts retailer, rather than a book seller or auction house.

The exception for me was the timing belt/water pump "kit" from Ebay already mentioned. Even after being HIGHLY recommended by trusted members of this forum (and everyone else, too, lol), I was still hesitant, but ended up being satisfied and they were genuine OEM.

That really seems to be the exception to the rule, though.

The other problem with Ebay/Amazon is that their fit guides aren't always accurate. I've been told that certain parts don't fit my truck, even though they 100% did, and visa versa, which is worse because you buy a part they say will fit and turns out it doesn't = lame.

I'd buy autozone parts before amazon or ebay parts...

There are many online retailers that are vendors on this site that will serve you well and have good prices. Autozone carries Brembo, and places like partsgeek at least didn't get their start selling books.

That's good because those brembos are just centric blanks. Make sure you order the coated ones.
