    Well the thing is

It’s a liability cause he could be running at work and trip. Or have a heart attack. Or whatever

Now they gotta pay him off cause he got hurt at work even though he’s doing his own thing.

People stopped screwing up? You can just be trying to help someone and get sued.

I’ll change my wording. Sue happy people don’t ruin the world.

    Greed does.

If you are out on a run on your lunch break on public streets it doesn’t matter if you get hurt the company is not liable. Now if you work on a construction site running around and hurt yourself thats different.

And its not entirely true you can get sued for helping someone. Some states do have bystander laws where if you see someone on the street collapse and you have no medical training and start CPR when you shouldn’t, killing someone you can be held liable. But not all states have that law.

It is very difficult in most states to file a lawsuit that is not substantiated. Even ones that are, are difficult to pursue because the laws are so screwy.

I see clients everyday with legitimate injuries that are not able to get compensation for them. People getting compensation they are not entitled to under the law... I don’t ever see that.

The world has a misconception of how lawsuits occur thanks to the media grossly misportraying them.

I agree with you on greed, but thats on the part of most defendants, not plaintiffs.

I’m a city worker, technically public property but city easement/maintained.

I’m not going to push the issue because of other things that our boss lets us do, but it just seems like BS to me.

Nice! None of the departments around here offer anything like that, the largest city PD locally has a decent gym and allows use of the patrol car to go to it, other gyms, or run errands in the city but as far as I know they’re the only department within 2 hours like that.

Back when i lived up towards your neck of the woods I applied to a great department that had an awesome gym and would allow you to use it 10-8 when the next shift came on (1 hour overlap between shifts, 3 10’s working per day) with supervisors consent.

They’re miserable. I’ve had 2 diagnosed and one self-diagnosed. First one was the worst. Literally never been the same after the first one.

True that. Leg day is harder to get super sets in though(for me atleast) and it’s hard to get pumped for it for some reason. It’s a mental battle.

I definitely agree BS. Sucks he had to say something.

Yeah, I'm not sure how these football players get these and still want to push to be on the field. I'd get my first one and be ready to retire LOL.

Close-stance, heels-elevated, high-bar back squat. Hands down my favorite quad accessory.

I do this exact thing but with a dumbbell in front of me. Acts more of a front squat variation.

Today was a very light and relaxing leg day. Foot is healing well. Probably back to normal legs and running next week.

Might be a little off topic but not sure where to ask. I designed/ordered some gym shirts online for some people I work with. The shirts were comfortable 50/50 blend but the design either wasn't screen printed correctly or didn't mix with the fabric well. It was a white design on black and some turned out more gray.

Has anyone ever ordered from a particular vendor that they really liked? I'm looking for a 60/40 cotton/poly or Nike Dri-Fit type shirt. Thanks for any help!

This is my first. The. Fucking. Worst. Tomorrow marks 4 weeks of getting the concussion. My head is still feeling off. Can’t even workout 100%. Still haven’t been back in the water to surf. I was hoping to be back in next week but who knows if that’ll happen

You get used to it after a while, 1 shower in the evening/night before bed, before dinner if going out with family.
