could also be a knock off since my extensive research on this subject matter (5 minutes on google images) show's there isn't any hardly D badges as well as that truck is missing the "texas edition" badge on the tailgate and the one that IS on the truck is on the wrong location. tsk tsk, amatures. Should be beside the "tacoma" text on the front passenger and driver doors

Also no special floors mats - that's a deal breaker for me

Really eats into departure angle though. The Taco already has the worst departure angle compared to FJ, 4Runner, and Jeep JK/JL. If you watch @Norilsk 's Moab videos, the hitch drags on rocks on every descent. This tire carrier adds several more inches to the hitch.

you imply i'd actually go offroading in this, it's just to maintain mall crawl status!
    :bananadead:

but in all honestly as pretty cool as it is from both a semi practical side and fabrication side, I absolutely have no need or need desire to get it. It's something that would be pretty sweet to check out once and leave it at that:notsure:

Rear of the bed works for the tire. Eats up space but it works.

If you are going offroad that hitch will get beat pretty bad. Still easier than a swingout.

I made one of those but fold down instead. I had it in Swisha, not sure if you saw it. It was too heavy to drop and raise with jerry cans and then needing access every now and then was a pain. Swing away like that works much better but it will get banged up on the hitch bar quite a bit if you go off road a lot.
It's also US$1100. That's just about the price of a HC bumper. The swing out you can always make yourself, just pick up the hinge and weld it on.

Uuuugh this is basically using a Power Probe directly on the OBD2 port, very easy to fry the PCM by accident. (not at you, at Scotty Kilmer)

This breakout box isn't very useful. It's very rare in diagnostics to probe the OBD2 port with a multimeter or scope. Usually you do it at the fusebox or directly at the connectors.

Yea after watching Scotty talk about it, I looked at more video's of them. Not something I need.

He made it seem great, maybe it is for older cars.

I am just a noob trying to learn the correct ways to fix my truck when I break it.:anonymous:

So you are correct, I fried my Cobra 75 WX ST.

1.) It was not grounded correctly on the ARB bumper:facepalm:

2.) I did not tune it when I moved it to the bumper:der:

3.) I used it for longer than I thought I did, my wife ensures me I used it for more than 2 hours each time before it failed.:frusty:

I replaced the $23 part that @tacoma16 suggested as a cheap fix, did not fix it. It is the hand held unit itself that is fuxed.

Think I am going to get an actual full unit, I use my CB all the time wheeling with my buddy. The sound quality is soooo much better on the CB, compared to the GMRS 2way radios.

    This one has good reviews.

Yes the text on Amazon is sometimes amazing.

Watched a few video's about CB features and such. I dont need any fancy features or changing color led displays.
