A lifetime supply of Busch Light sounds incredibly tempting, but I am afraid I will have other obligations this weekend. But damn, just think how sweet that would be.

And that red flannel, dang! Id have to try the large variety.

Whats a good synthetic winch line? I will say that I am not a fan of them personally, but after wheeling with @In4aride last time and seeing people that werent me handling the winch having to be concerned about burrs, I feel like I owe it to my riding buddies to make it easier on them.

I have always preferred steel just for the simple fact that if I am hanging near a ledge and the only thing keeping me from falling off is either a rope or a cable, I would much prefer a cable. Maybe Im old school but it is what it is.

As I look a them, some are $20 and some are $120. Are the cheap ones really that cheap? Are the expensive ones really that much better?

Looking for guidance on something I am ignorant on. Thanks to all you fine folks.

Granted I bought cheep, $100 for 80’ of 3/8. But ya get what ya pay for, the higher price line is defiantly better. For instance the amsteel blue is 2.50-3.50 a foot but it’s high quality and tighter woven than any cheep line.

Anybody hike Huron recently? Last report is the 4x4 trail to the trailhead is closed due to avalanche debris.

Well... On the upside you can have it plugged and use it as a matching spare? :)
