Yeah either that or he's old - 'more to break'? Like what a power seat? Which, by the way was woefully missing from this truck. In a way, Toyota is sort of like Apple - you either buy in and appreciate its quirks and deliberate decisions or you don't. Does Samsung now innovate more than Apple and have more exciting features? Yes, but will a Samsung work the same after 5 years like an iPhone will and be worth nearly as much? No.

I can not stop looking at the green Pro. I think im going to contact my dealer and see what they can do. Going to try for atleast 5% off MSRP. I feel like Toyota really brought the upgrades in this refresh and those headlights are beautiful.

2020 Engine Question: I swear I read or heard in a video that Toyota has done some tuning of the 2020 Tacoma engine to broaden the "band", giving more torque at lower RPM - or something similar. Anyone got info on that?

    A few.
Maybe some further software tuning of the engine/transmission. Have to wait and see.

    - yeah, I understand the engine and transmission aren’t changing but was wondering if the computer was tweaked - wish I could find the link where I heard it but no guarantee it would be accurate. I was going to get Pedal Commander for my 17 Pro but now I will wait to see what shakes out.

Definitely recommend the Pedal Commander. Throttle is SO much more response and controllable.
No more lurching and if you need to stomp on it, she goes immediately :)

Wonder if sequential turn signals are built into the DRL LED strip now?

Just FYI, I was able to talk to a local dealership yesterday to put in an allocation for a 2020. Hopefully that means 6-8 weeks from now I will have my first Taco!

Despite them copying Morimoto's design, no it does not have sequential switchbacks. It likely doesn't even have switchbacks.

I’d really like to see a 4.0 back in the lineup but not complaining...

I would rather see a hybrid 3.5 with better mpg.
