Looks like you got the ones for the V6 instead of the 4 cyl.

Ah. I’m using a Haynes manual. I believe it’s for all 1st gen Tacoma’s, 4runners, and t100s. Maybe it’s a different part number? It looks like these I bought are dual pronged also.

2.7 uses a single prong/electrode. V6 needs the dual electrodes

Gotcha. I reckon I’ll just have to take them back and try to find the correct one. Trying to stay as close to OEM as possible

I have the Denso K16RU11's in my 2.7. Works flawlesly. And they came perfectly gapped.

Honestly I would go with the ones that are shown in @Blue92 's post from the users manual, since that is directly from Toyota's own mouth.

The ones showing on partsouq have a slightly different part number, I don't know if the difference matters but it's better to err on the side of caution

Does have the distributor since it’s an 04 model?

upload_2019-7-18_15-22-48.jpgThis is all my manual is showing me. I’m starting to think it’s not the one that came with the truck. Looks like one for a 3.4 not a 2.7

In the back there should be a section with all the recommended oil types and levels, some part numbers etc. Thats where I found my info.

The user manuals for any particular model year aren't specific to any one engine, like @Blue92 said in the back it should break down the specifics based on engine
