    Going to mounts some traction boards under the tent on the bars that will double as leveling blocks when needed, mount my axe with some quick fists under there as well, and some lights all the way around. I got some little light pods on Amazon prime day

    The rack is below cab level.....wouldn't want it any higher !

    Putting the cover on is a bit of a PIA.....but not bad

    mine was $699 shipped....oh well......

    1) Right on! Good luck, and safe trip

    2) Sure, if you don't mind us makin fun of your Chevy... Just kiddin

    3) These tents don't weigh much, Mine sits above top of cab level, and I don't even notice it's there. (curves on mountain roads, offroad, on trails etc)

    4) Once you put in a second foam mat and start storing your sleeping bags in the tent, folding it will be more of a pain in the ass than putting the cover on ;)... Also, the cover seems like it gets easier to put on over time. Mine was kind of hard to put on at first, but I think getting sun baked and stretching out has made it easier.

    5) $699 isn't a bad price... I think it's actually pretty much the going price unless you find a good sale on them.

    here ya go.....debut trip....Henry Mountains SE Utah.....

    beautiful camping spot...McMillian Springs...all of 10 developed spots

    very quiet location at 8400'...tent gets a 5 star rating......wife loves it !

    Skylights are perfect...mattress give you a good nights sleep

    One word of caution...putting the outer cover on & off........

    watch the sharp corners !!!! Edges will cut your knuckles fast !
