3" OME lift with 885 coils on nitrocharger 90000 shocks with 5mm trim packer on driver's side, TC UCAs, Rear OME Dakar leafs with nitrocharger shocks, All-pro U-bolt flip kit and 3* Toytec shims, extended rear brakelines, 16" Raceline Rockcrusher 887 wheels with 3.6" backspacking, BFG KM2 305/70/16 tires, Doug Thorley header, Doug Thorley catback exhaust, Volant CAI with ram air, Weathertech floor mats, Kicker 12" sub, Kenwood 500W RMS amp, Relentless Fab front and rear bumpers, 4.88 gears, custom flatbed with swing out tire carrier
Im getting a Pro Comp 6" stage II lift and 4.88 gears put on my truck next week. Should I get 35" tires or 33" tires??? I'm concerned that the 4 banger may be too weak for 35's.

    All comments would be appreciated!

edit: Actually I didnt go this route. I got a 3" OME with all sorts of goodies instead :)

i dont have any personal experience with your setup, but i just have a strong feeling your 2.7 will have a difficult time moving that much rubber.

35" are to big and 6in lift is to big for a 2.7l your truck will be really slow and have a hard time taking off.

4.88 gears will help immensely. I think It will turn fine. Will 5.26s fit?

ive seen people run 35s on stock gearing with the 2.7 and with 4.88 it should be pretty decent

With 4.88 I say 35's should be no problem. The % change in gear ratio is larger than the % change in tire diameter, so you're golden!

you'll be fine with those gears... altho i would personally go with 33's. 35's still rub on 6"s of lift.

alrighty so I think im goin with Toyo MT 35 x 11.5 (285/75/R18) tires. They're lighter than the 33 x 12.5" too so that should help some. The wheels are gonna 18" ATX mojave at 9.5" wide and 4.3" backspacing. Hopefully it will be done by the end of next week then I'll post the pics!

Go with the 35's, the are going to look mean on this thing. 4.88s are perfect. If you don't post pics of this beast I'll find you. JK...
