    Dear all Tacoma friends,

    This is just to introduce myself, and not trying to make it into a long thread.

    The name is Ferdinand. I live about 5 miles from John Wayne Airport, in Orange County-California, so if anyone lives in the area, and you'd like to fly small airplanes, just contact (PM) me.

    I just purchased a 2016 TRD Sport 4x4, Inferno (picture to come at a later time), with a manual transmission (M/T), a.k.a. stick-shift. First-time Tacoma owner. When the insurance asked me what type of anti-theft device it has, I told them it has the best one in the USA: a stick-shift. ;)

    I took my Tacoma off-road in the Big Bear Mountains a couple weekends ago, it was so much fun! Not something difficult, just enough to have fun, and explore my new truck's capabilities...and to find out whether the bike rack and rubber straps will hold. (The rack did; the straps didn't. LOL!)

    Well, that's about it for now. I'll post some more when I have something interesting or useful to share. (Not a big blogger, though.)
