    Depends on what you want the truck. If you swapped a D44, might as well do a FJ80 and flip it or run a Toy axle with chromos and keep it all Toyota. If you don't want it to be all Toyota, literally any D60 is stronger than a bullet proofed (chromo shafts, upgraded hubs and u joints, truss) 44. Most 44s are full width as well so I just don't see much of a reason to put in a 44 besides you having one laying around

    It's a fine axle just better options imo

    Little change to the front end. Plastidipped an OEM chrome surround and swapped the SR5 grille with a TRD Sport (or off road, can't remember which). Also swapped out the OEM mirrors for Trail Ridge towing mirrors to make it easier to see around the camper without strap on mirrors.
