I can't speak for the first error, but the second is the result of you having the software trying to use the wrong interface. I know because I saw the same on mine as a result of having a non-Tactrix cable's drivers installed. Mine looks identical from a Mini VCI cable.

Make sure you install the OV Tactrix cable drivers (menu option) and select that from the pull-down menu.

 

You need to install the tactrix drivers and select that interface.

 

@Synergy001 I beleive both of those errors are related to missing drivers. Based on the fact you can't select the tactrix option, and a little googlefoo shows the .dll error you posted is related to denso drivers. Make sure you have all the correct drivers installed like Vinci mentioned above.

 

Just installed the cable drivers. Didn’t see that part in the instructions. Charging laptop now and will try again. Maybe it’ll work this time I hope. Thx!

 

Got windows installed on my old macbook pro, finally...god damn that took forever.

Sent off my system ID info via email, now just have to wait on the registry key so I can tune my truck! Probably won’t get it until mid-next week, but that’s fine.

When you flash; please, please , please wait at least 300 miles before judging the tune. It’s going to be quite an enlightenment for your truck.

Any Windows laptop should work fine. I'd make sure to get one with Windows 10 so you don't have to update it before Windows 7 end of life next year.

Yeah I didn’t watch the video. Just read through the instructions. I figured the video would correlate to the instructions so I didn’t bother watching it lol

What kinda of track car do you have ?

 

i've been towing a 20FT enclosed trailer (~3500lbs) with a RX7 (~2500lbs) to and from Vancouver, BC to Shelton, WA (Ridge Motorsports Park)

the truck does well and with the sway control hitch - its actually more stable than my old setup (F350 with the same trailer but no sway control)

been towing like this for about 5-6 track days now and was hoping this tune will help with the MPG and have better power overall

it does fine if i stay at or under 60mph but anything over it drinks gas like no tomorrow - and i don't tow it in S4 mode like people recommend, only with ECT on and its been fine (i monitor temps with scanguage)
