If you drive maybe 30-40 minutes North of San Francisco you’re in the wilderness.

 

If its in between the two then you wouldn't want to live in either SF or LA...there's ~600 miles between the two. You'd have to commute ~300 miles to work every day lol.

There are a lot of really small towns between LA and SF but it's mostly flat agriculture land in that part of the state. You could live in Bakersfield...I hear that's nice

 

LA and the rest of Southern California is trash.

NorCal 4 Lyfe

NorCal has a lot of wilderness and open space, SoCal is the population center of California.

 

Oh he’d love Bakersfield. It’s a very blue collar working class town.

 

no I rather just stay in the woods where I belong.

I'll only make that trip 2-3 times a month and gas is paid for. But I'll be working mostly at collection points.

 

Everyone in this thread will tell you not to move here, but I like it here. As long as I can afford it I don’t plan on leaving.

It’s pretty empty up there. Once you get past Petaluma it starts to thin out.

 

No he lives withing regular creeping distance of Barto. And yeah don't ever move to Cali, you'd have huge regrets

 

hell no. I'd NEVER live in Bakersfield. wife has a cousin there. had to visit once. drive SUCKED, place sucks IMO. just NO.

One thing though, they sure do love their guns down in Bakersfield... lol. Saw gun shops everywhere.

 

I wouldnt think finding a job that deals with chemicals would be that hard.
