Seriously... let’s use some common sense. I get this is TW and some people have dumb ideas, like if they can fill the gas tank before it drops to a 1/4, but the window?

Should really read the forum when your not driving.

You guys are so silly. :anonymous:

The ECU is supposed to be updated. Mine shifts better than previous models that required TBS.
The 2019 eliminated the GoPro mount and the driver's side bed cubby. The tail gate on the 2019 lowers with assistance so you can just let it go and it won't slam. Front windows auto open and close. There's probably a few other minor changes I can't think of right now, but none of these are compelling enough to make a 2019 much more attractive than a 2018.

Not many feature/spec differences but Toyota probably rolled some of their TSBs into the production line for the 2019, as well as other small tweaks, ECU updates, etc.

    Would be my guess anyway.

My '18 has the power locking tailgate, center rear window, left cubby in box, and best of all, it' an even number year, not odd and it's paid for!

Oh, forgot to add: full size spare tire, rear wheel drive and A/C!

Except the details left out a pretty important key word. The dude said "they moved the rear window from the left to the center". What company does something stupid like that? Thought I was in a Chevy forum.

What company does something stupid like have a left only sliding rear window. Common sense guy.

In reality we both have a point and not going to get into a pissing match over a miscommunication. We both get it now. Issue resolved.

Plenty of people were confused by your comment. Just look through the thread. Rear window and rear window switch are completely different things. Go up to a parts counter and ask for a rear window and see what you get.

It’s also ok to ask for clarification. Plenty were confused and plenty understood.

One change is the rear seats have an HVAC vent for ‘19 on the back of the center console, down by the floor.

2017 is quite different, it has no TSS and the packages were different. Premium and Tech was a single option and also can have Heated Cloth Seats.

I'm not sure if that was a dealer/factory installed option but my '18 sport has tailgate assist and power locking tailgate.

    Here's a link to the 2018 brochure. http://www.paladinmicro.com/Tacoma/documents/18_tacoma.pdf.

Some key features of the 2019 are:
    • Bluetooth®7 wireless technology
    • Three total USB ports:5 one USB media port, two USB charge ports
    • Integrated backup camera53
    • 4.2-in. color Multi-Information Display (MID)

    • Star Safety System™

Wait is that a real thing? Someone actually thought you couldn’t fill the tank until it was below a quarter?

I agree with this. My ‘19 drives much differently than my buddy’s older 3rd gen and was completely up to date on all its shots when I got it...
