I'm waiting for some straight line times. That's all I have any interest in, it's usually the toughest comparison for parts durability and power. Plus I find it personally the most fun to race haha

And yeah well..thats my point. They are muscle cars first. Track cars or whatever next. And the Demon and Hellcat stuff is kicking ass right now. I don't think I'd own one personally.

 

Always fun to have a powerful car, you buy something with an engine and we'll have some fun at the drag strip. That's my goal for when I'm back in Spokane. Trying to run at every test and tune to get in shape to start running the stick shift no prep class with some friends.

 

My uncle owns both and I have to say the Demon is a much more attractive car in my eyes. The Hellcat charger just felt too soft, like they shoved an engine in an economy car. It wasn't just a bad handler, it felt dangerous. The demon was put together, stiffened properly. Launched pretty straight and hard despite the shitty Nitto NT555 it comes with.

 

I'd never buy a charger. Ugly and not a very good 4 seater to "justify" it. The Challenger is a way better looking car and just oozes cool compared the the charger.

 

I don't really like how either look, but yeah I'd have the two door too.

 

The 86 would be way more fun if you autocrossed..

Hellcat challenger..meh okay. Charger? lol..fuck no.

And Im sure there a lot of cars we'd all want..

Not get into autocrossing? Dude have you been to an event? It looks so fun. Really I want to do Rallycross, but still autocross would be a hoot. Or Hill climbs. I wish there was a way to setup a race from Red Lodge to Cooke City. Make Pikes Peak look lame.

Personally, I would prefer the 5 speed but the 85's are definitely highly sought after. And that one is a beauty.

For that price, there had better be absolutely zero rust anywhere. I wonder if its an original bed. Those were notorious for rusting up.

 

The hell kind of event you go to where you have to wait forever to do a run? I haven't driven in one. Been to two for a bit. Looks like a blast. The course I saw was pretty long and looked super fun. Guys got tons of laps in.

Rallycross would be more up my alley. But they only do a few a year in Montana and it's a bit far. None in Wyoming.

Yeah...don't remind me. Should have gone for it.
