I have an Mathews LX that I bought used in 2011. 3rd set of strings. My son's Mission Riot was bought in the summer of 2014. He went to Lancaster Archery to get his peep adjusted (growth spurt). He mentioned about replacing the strings and the tech asked "Why?" You have at least another season on them.

I had to force the guy to replace my strings. He said they were still good...even though they looked frayed to me. I just didnt want to have an issue in the woods.

I read where douche-bag Chris Bracket from the hunting show Fear no Evil was banned from hunting world wide for 30 months and fined $30k for his Indiana fuck-up. That Cocksucker finally got what he deserved!! Booh-Ya!!!

    Good for him.
I watch Youtube videos made by common, everyday folks. Some of those are pretty good.

This was a classic, in Indiana they have a 1 buck limit and he shot 2 bucks in one hunt. He told his camera crew to bury the footage but things went bad between Chris and the cameraman so, the cameraman posted the hunt footage on Facebook!!!!

Ouch! I just read some of it. I didn't know about his cameraman posting it on FB.
Glad he got busted. I'm sure there is plenty of that going on in the tv/hunting industry. It makes you wonder who is being honest and who is feeding you shit.

Been reading where this poacher is trying to get tags prior to his 05-Nov-2019 sentencing. This guy is a piece of work. According to this recent post, it was no big deal, happened six years. Blah, blah, blah.... Just a misdemeanor. Shoulda been charged under the Lacey Act and it would have been a felony. Never be able to own a firearm. Strong possibility of significant jail time. Yeah, I don't like poachers.

Jim Shocky is on my wish to get busted...I cant stand watching his shows, about anytime I start watching them he does something stupid. Last one I saw he was in Tibet or somewhere like that and shot at an elk and you could clearly see it got hit, he looks around for a few minutes and says well, must have been a clean miss. goes on to hunt somewhere else...

Friggin SR6 is making noise again. My Powermax that cost a quarter of the cost never gave me this many issues.

The damn cam stops click when they meet the limb. Maybe some felt on the limb will stop the noise.

Anyone out shooting getting ready for the season?

I was at the range this weekend and shooting and my friend put a golf ball on a target to aim at, at 60 yards. I nailed it.

Got a couple more food plots worked up today. Will probably wait a week or so to plant.E25FEA3F-8E10-43B2-8757-77D23D30E957.jpg3AB204AA-3668-420F-9A4B-0618E1E8BD51.jpg

We can’t even put any minerals, food, etc. in the one county where I hunt in VA. This stuff is getting crazy. I’m not an EHD fan, but the bottom line is the biologists can’t even definitively say how it is being directly transmitted other than it’s a harmful prion. So I guess very few if any trip can pics this year.

First it was real scent lures and now no way to get the deer concentrated to an area for pics. I might as well just get a spear and start trying to impale them like the old days.

I can’t do food plots where I hunt in either place I have so that’s not an option unfortunately either.
