Bed blocker

What kind of handy dandy gizmo is out there to keep groceries and other small items from sliding to the front of the bed?

This with the Rubber OEM Mat.

OR

You can get some plastic tubs and with the tailgate closed, bungee them against the gate.

 

The bed mat works pretty good (as the guy above me said). It's not perfect... groceries will still go everywhere, but it stops heavier items from moving around. There's also a cargo net/divider you can buy (OEM).

 

DANG!! I got all excited thinking perfect!! Until I read not compatible with factory Tacoma tonneau!! RATS

Also, I recently got a bed mat. They are pretty darn cool.

 

Mine have been sitting in a box in my garage for a good 6 months. I just can't find the motivation.......

Just a reminder, esp in salty areas, touch up the holes with some paint / primer and dab some RTV on the back side for insurance. That was probably the worse steps in the whole deal.

 

Something like this is great for boxes and such. I have one that i use to keep my ice chest from rolling around and just put stuff in front of the ice chest to keep it in place. I suppose you could use a crate with this as well.

you have a double cab, can't you just put it in the front on the floors?

Just a couple holes and Hondo Accessory Rail Nuts.

 

I have some collapsible crates, a friend got them at costco, then I run a ratchet strap through the handles across the bed using the factory plastic adjustable d-rings in the rails. One crate can fit behind the bigger seat in the rear of the double cab. The other one lives in the floorboard.

 

here's another option. i have one of these and it sits easy to access under the front panel of my tonneau which also locks. and it's removable.

Excellent! More tie downs are always good. I've used all of mine for various purposes. I wish there were some in the floor halfway between the first set of bed bolts.

 

I bought this at HD, strapped it to the rear tie downs against the tailgate. (Strap is on the outside under the bin lip) Easy to move or take out.

 

You can still use it with tonneau.

The instructions state to put the tightening knobs on the top which means no tonneau but if you flip the bracket it works fine and you can still get the knobs no problem
