I ordered some bolt on sliders from Mobtown for my 2019 (Gen3 duh) Toyota DCSB back in February. I have decided I'm not going to be able to use them for now, so I'm selling them. They are configured as such:

    1. For Gen3 dual cab short bed or access cab long bed
    2. Power coated
    3. With kickouts
    4. Fill plate
    5. bolt on version

Price: $1099 firm, payment via cash or Venmo/Zelle
Delivery: Pickup in Seattle, WA at UPS depot, fresh from Mobtown. You will meet me the the UPS terminal and you can take them from there.

I note that these are currently selling for $1,199.00, so you are getting them for $100 off....SHIPPED. No long wait time. I waited 6 months for these. Brand new, fresh off the UPS truck from Mobtown, they shipped them off today.

Check them out here, they are configured as above (pretty much all options):
    https://mobtownoffroad.com/product/2016-2020-toyota-tacoma-heavy-duty-bolt-on-rock-slider/

Listing them here first, and if no response then I'm off to Craiglist. Thank you!

    DESCRIPTION:

Finally, rock sliders are available for the 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma that DO NOT require welding or drill on the frame. Our design is the toughest on the market. Other companies claim to be full bolt-on, but require drilling for usable strength. Mobtown’s bolt-on sliders are built to be used on the trail to protect your truck from rocks and trees as well as provide a great point to lift for tire changes.

Mobtown sliders are attached with three methods:

    1. Grade 8 hardware bolts through the frame in existing holes
    2. Mobtown C-Clamp which boxes in the frame rail
    3. BeamClamp® engineered clamps provide additional attachment for the most stressed edge
Combined, these solutions yield the strongest no drill, full bolt-on rock sliders available for the Toyota Tacoma.

Product Weights (approx) Including All Hardware and Brackets:

Access Cab Long Bed or Double Cab Short Bed w/o Fill Plates 140 lbs (Fill Plates adds 12 lbs)

You’ll have a hard time selling these without actual pics. Mobtown does make really good bolt on sliders though. I have the same exact sliders you listed.

Hard to take pictures of something I don't have, but I hear ya! They are enroute from Mobtown right now. The buyer gets them fresh off the truck! There is a link there in the post for people to look at them. Yes, I think these are the best or equal to anything out there for bolton! Thanks Murdoch33.

OK here are few pics that are from Mobtown. Thats what they look like, these ones i'm selling are powder coated black. These are full blown sliders, fully functional and not cosmetic or just "step ups".

Not yet. He just shipped them this morning. I have a shipping number but it isn't in the system yet. DO IT!! I'm kinda crushed I gotta punt on these. This is exactly what I want for sliders. I just need the money for something else. If/when I do put sliders on, they will be these exact ones. This price I'm selling for is a deal...Joe was nice enough to work with me on the price shipped to me. Don't know if he does that anymore. And no wait? Well you're not going to see that again in a long while :)

Why didn't you just cancel and get your money refunded before they shipped? Just a odd situation doesn't make any sense why you would choose to do it this way?

He wanted a 20% "restocking fee". It is as simple as that. I didn't want to pay it. No alien conspiracies, sorry dude.

Too bad you didn't decide yesterday. Then, Mobtown could have shipped them anywhere, and not limited to Seattle.

Wow six months is a long time to wait to have to pay a restocking fee when the item wasn't even shipped, that sucks man. Seems like all this fab companies just struggle on this side of the customer service. Good luck with the sale I'm sure someone will be happy

LOL yeah I know. I have to admit I forgot all about them for a while or else I would have been bitching about it. I understand they are a small operation and the main guy there (Joe) had a health issue or something like that. I think the thing is that this is what you get when you order from what is basically a boutique shop. If you're expecting big corporation customer service/rock solid supply chain/fast and hitch free delivery of your product on time....you are probably gonna have a bad time. Witness all the past years complaints about CBI. You either have the patience and wait it out and trust...or just don't do it. I really believe that Mobtown makes great stuff and that this was my best option as a bolt on slider. I think another one emerged after I made the purchase, but I do think this one is still *the best*...but admittedly after a certain level you are splitting hairs that don't make a real difference.

That is what makes this deal all the sweeter! You don't have to wait for it, its literally on the way. But yeah, you gotta be striking distance of Seattle to make it work. I do wish I could have just gotten a refund, but I figure the worst case is I end up taking them home and bolting them on my truck and I gotta scheme up other ways to come up with the money. This one seems easy right now though.

So I'll be available if someone wants to buy them this Friday at the UPS depot. If I end up bringing them home, I'll probably gravitate towards just putting them on my truck.

OK, I'm back from a trip and I've got to move these or bolt them on. So if you're interested, we can meet at the UPS depot here in Seattle.
I'm going to pick them up this week and the longer that I have them, the more likely I am to just bolt them on and keep them.
    Thank you.

OK my Taco brothers and sisters, I picked up the sliders and now my truck is telling me it needs them. So I guess I’m bolting them on. Who am I to question my truck?6D2049C2-B38D-4CA7-A5C4-946C2C41B2BE.jpg

yep. not unexpected, look at their order page:

POWDER COAT NOTE: Powder coating is an (optional) coating that provides a better coverage and durability than sprayed on paint. If powder coating is not ordered, sliders come bare-metal. Please note, that powder coating is an option and holds no warranty from defects and damages. It will not protect the sliders from scratches, rust, trail damage, street damage or other. Sliders are wrapped and not boxed for shipping. We accept no responsibility for shipping damage. If you are concerned about potential scratches or damage from shipping, please order bare-metal.

IMO, if you're worried about scratches on your sliders, don't order sliders. Just get the stepups that don't actually provide protection. Sliders by nature are gonna get scratched.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

I'm sorry those were poorly packaged if you received them like that. I would never let something ship powder coated packaged like that. I agree on the scratched sliders but they could protect them better then that for the transport.
