    Just an update on my guy. His surgery went well. He crushed 8 vertebrae and one nearly pushed one completely through the skin on his back. They were able to fuse a number of them back together and his recovery is progressing well. Today he was transported via ambulance from the hospital in Houston to a rehabilitation center in San Antonio where he will stay for the next 10-15 days doing physical therapy daily for as long as he likes. I've visited him a few times and he's been in good spirits despite the pain. Boy is a trooper, I can vouch for that. Docs are confident he will be walking on his own by the end of this weekend. Thank you for everyone if you thinking of him. Genuinely.

    This, by the way was freaking hilarious and I hadn't read about it before I said what I did the other day. Proof we live in a simulation?

    Well, I'm one of 5 guys still flying. We had 16 going last week but people have started trickling out. My last large fields end Friday. This late in the season nothing new is starting so I imagine Friday will be my last day unless my firehall get extended our someone breaks down.

    Same ole same ole, trying to get as far ahead as I can while I can.

    Just sent in another oil sample with some miles on it. That one had about 5k on it, the last one only 500. Hopefully they'll have something for me. Something or nothing, I don't want in between.
