2013 with no key fob

    Just got my 2013 but only came with a regular key to stick in and open/close door. Where can I get a key fob to lock and unlock without key? Do I need an alarm? Just want to be able to unlock and lock without key

    The guy in post #8 said it worked for his 2014.

    I have heard there were some trucks that did NOT have factory keyless entry.
    I have never seen one personally. You might check the dealer to see if the can run your VIN and tell you if yours has that option.

    Let us know if it works for you.

    I only have one fob for my truck.
    I should probably order another one.

    Key fob is coming in tomorrow and I’m going to give an update, thanks again for the info, I’m still new to trucks and this community

    So just tried a few times and it’s working and not working, drivers door doesn’t unlock and lock but others do, before I would get out and use button to lock and close driver door and all 4 would lock, now drivers doesn’t lock same way, have to manually click to lock and close door, so frustrating, anyway to reset the new transmitter and start over?

    Try post #7 from link below
    Pay close attention to Step #7. As there are are 4 different program modes.
    You’re probably going to need to be in Rewrite Mode to remove all older Fobs.

    Still can’t get this thing to work! I just want to lock and unlock all doors with fob instead of using my key to open drivers door and unlock all with button. Can a locksmith figure this out?

    yes you can reset them. U get problems when u hit 4 fobs programmed & u try a 5th. I believe this is when you need to reset all the fobs & start from scratch. It’s fairly common & I contemplated this & hoped I didn’t have to do it. I got lucky & didn't. They’re instructions for doing that & it requires more scrutiny when programming the fobs. Also I wouldn’t take it to a dealer till you tried this. If they have the same problems they’ll charge you labor ($140 hour about). I’d give it a shot & hold off on the stealership. GL

    Still in planning phase ...
    keylessentryremotefob.com .... just got a spare for my 2010 DCSB for $20. They buy up old ones and then refurbish them. Then if the case is all messed up like many old used ones are, then take out the guts and throw them in a AJT Design case.
