    Damn that sucks. I’ve lived there my whole life and never had a problem. Well I’ve had stuff stolen. I guess my neighborhood is safe. I just looked up the crime stats and you’re right it is pretty scary

    I wouldn’t like to live anywhere else in the Valley other than McAllen and surrounding suburbs. I currently live in Hidalgo, and the only thing I don’t like about this place is the illegal immigration, and drug smuggling activity that goes on in these parts. The Border Patrol basically lives in my backyard lol.

    In the entire state, Tomball, and Vidor are high up there

    The Valley is a pretty peaceful place for the most part. In 2019, two different LEO’s were shot, and 1 unfortunately didn't make it.
