Harry has a thing for tip ties...

Auggie takes my daughters hair scrunchies out of her bedroom and places them on top of the steps in threes. She can’t eat them she just likes to transport them around

 

Smokey has only lived with me for 8 months now, he’s actually my parents cat. The house burned down in the “tubbs” fire, he lived on 122 acres cattle ranch. Now he lives in my 2bd townhouse. My parents live with my sister for the time being.

The funny thing is not all the hair ties were mine. My mom thinks some belonged to my niece along with the headband ieink & purple colors. There’s no telling how long they were in him.

The surgery for the bladder stones was semi planned after we found out what was going on, something that could’ve killed him if he was still on the ranch. He didn’t have a litter box at my parents. They wouldn’t of realize he wasn’t peeing.

So 2 days after the stones come out the vomiting started, then Sunday morning when I came home from work he was under the couch almost dead.

The emergency vet takes him back and immediately asked for the

Smokey dying wasn’t an option, my mom drives 3hrs round trip several times a month to come see him. I wouldn’t of survived the guilt.

My hair ties are now in a drawer in the walk in closet that the door is kept closed. After taking it off my head it goes in the trash. I’m not playing around lol.

Yes the shirt is way less stressful. Good for Smokey be secure in his self and that pink shirt... haha Glad he is better.....

 

It is worth every penny... or dollar in your case, but these critters become a very important part of our lives....

 

And he's free to use whichever litter box he wants. This is a judgment free zone.

never easy to catch a cat yawning...at least for me.

 

Yikes, my cat loves to eat hair ties...so much so that we have to go to great lengths to hide my wife's. He figured out she kept them in her purse and would actually unzip it to get to them. No idea how but he would. Hopefully they aren't stuck in his belly
He ate a rubber band once which freaked me out but I found it in the litter box the next day lol
